Two weeks ago University of Alaska Anchorage dedicated a beautiful, new on-campus arena.

This week it's Western Washington University's turn.

On Saturday, between games of a  soccer doubleheader, WWU will officially dedicate Robert S. Harrington Field, the Vikings' new on-campus soccer facility. Ceremonies are expected to get underway at approximately 6:40 p.m.

The lighted venue features an all-weather artificial turf field, bleachers, and restroom facilities, and will serve as the home to WWU's men's and women's soccer programs. The new complex was made possible by a $1 million lead gift from WWU alumnus Scott Harrington.
