Former WWU National Champ Now An NCAA Postgraduate Intern

Never tire of stories like this.

And so great to have this Western Washington/GNAC connection in the NCAA's postgraduate intern program.

One of the interesting aspects of this program are the tremendous opportunities the NCAA provides its interns with regards to professional development. For instance, the NCAA funds travel costs for interns to make site visits to campuses, conference offices and other entities during their internship year. In fact, just last week, the GNAC office was visited by Joseph Weber, who is a postgraduate intern in the Championships and Alliances office.

In addition to visiting with myself, associate commissioner Bridget Tetteh and assistant commissioner Blake Timm, Joe also made stops at Nike, University of Oregon and George Fox University on his trip to the Pacific Northwest.
