A strong lineup featuring spring sports takes center stage on tonight's episode of GNAC Insider, which airs live at 7 p.m. PT and is always available on demand via iTunes or gnacsports.com.
Host Robert Lowery will interview Western Washington sprinter Alex Donigian, who last week at the Texas Relays clocked the fastest time in the 100 meters by a DII athlete this spring (10.27).
Also on the show will be Simon Fraser golf John Mlikotic, the Clan senior captain who has helped lead his team to a No. 9 national ranking and a pair of tournament victories this year. SFU last week won the Cal Baptist Invitational, knocking off a host of Top 25 teams, including No. 3 Chico State.
Attention will also be turned to softball and the red-hot Saint Martin's Saints, who went 6-1 at the Tournament of Champions in Turlock, Calif., last week. The Saints won the Silver Bracket of this prestigous tourney by defeating third-ranked Cal State Monterey Bay in the championship game. SMU is 7-1 and leading the GNAC race entering this week' action.
