GNAC, PacWest and CCAA Hoop Tournament Schedules Here

Conference hoop tourneys get underway this week.
The conference tournaments in the GNAC, PacWest and CCAA all take place up and down the West Coast this week, with tournament champions crowned on Saturday. The six champions will earn automatic berths into the NCAA West Regionals, which begin the following week.

For those interested in following all six tournaments – three men’s, three women’s – we are providing the tournament schedules here for convenience.

The CCAA tournaments get underway on Tuesday evening with quarterfinal games contested at campus sites. The CCAA semis and finals are Friday and Saturday in San Marcos, Calif.

The GNAC and PacWest tournaments are Thursday through Saturday. The GNAC event will be held at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Wash., while the PWC tourney will be held on the campus of Concordia-Irvine.

Remember, the NCAA West Regionals feature eight teams in each gender -- the automatic qualifier from each of the three conferences plus five at-large selections regardless of conference affiliation. Six-person men's and women's Regional Advisory Committees comprised of two reps from each of the three conferences are charged with making the at-large selections.

The NCAA Championships bracket announcements will be streamed live Sunday evening, March 5 via ncaa.com. The women's bracket will be revealed at 7 p.m. PT, the men's bracket at 7:30 p.m. PT.
