NCAA Statement on California Senate Bill 206

California's governor today signed into law Senate Bill 206, which will permit student-athletes in the state to make money off their name, image and likeness (currently prohibited by NCAA regulations).

The law is scheduled to take effect Jan. 1, 2023.
